Fast & Furious (also known as The Fast and the Furious 4 in most international markets, Wild Speed MAX in Japan and Fast & Furious - Solo Parti Originali in Italy is the fourth installment (chronologically, the third, coming after the '2 fast 2 furious movie' plot) of The Fast and the Furious film series. The film was released on April 3, 2009. The plot connects with the original film of the series from which Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jordana Brewster reprise their roles. The film was directed by Justin Lin, who also directed the third installment of the series, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, and is slated to return for Fast Five. This film is also the first in the series to give more emphasis on American built muscle cars than imported cars.
Brian O'Conner, now working for the FBI in LA, teams up with Dominic Toretto to bring down a heroin importer by infiltrating his operation.

Caprica shows how humanity first created the robotic Cylons who would later plot to destroy humans in retaliation for their enslavement. Among Caprica's main characters are the father and uncle of Commander William Adama from the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica.

In New York, Mike, at his bachelor party, goes with his troublemaker brother Tony and his friends Carl and Joe to a strip club. However Tony gets in a fight with other costumers and the group is expelled by the bouncers. Tony convinces Mike and his friends to take the subway and go to another bar. There they see the stripper Michelle and her friend Brita, and Carl makes a corresponded move to Michelle. When Tony flirts with Brita, she becomes upset and defends herself with a spray. The train stops in a traffic light at an abandoned station, and Brita forces the door open, leaving the train to breath, followed by the others. However the signal opens and they are left behind in the station. Mike, Tony, Joe and Brita decide to walk through the tunnel to the next station and seek help for Carl. When they reach the next station, they witness a trio of brutal homeless men killing a guard and they run through the tunnel trying to escape from the deranged murderers in the beginning of their nightmarish night.

When Coraline moves to an old house, she feels bored and neglected by her parents. She finds a hidden door with a bricked up passage. During the night, she crosses the passage and finds a parallel world where everybody has buttons instead of eyes, with caring parents and all her dreams coming true. When the Other Mother invites Coraline to stay in her world forever, the girl refuses and finds that the alternate reality where she is trapped is only a trick to lure her.

Shot in a an artistic cinema verité style, the ups and downs of GFE's story line are less compelling than the very credible performance of award-winning adult film actress, Sasha Grey, as a determined young woman that has managed to achieve success as an upscale escort without any apparent loss of dignity, but clearly at the expense of her ability to feel anything deeply, be it with her clients or in her personal life. In an uncomplicated way, the film makes a provocative point about the more subtle costs of switching off aspects of our aliveness (i.e. our caring) to get ahead.

Five Minutes of Heaven is a British/Irish film directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel from a script by Guy Hibbert. The film was premiered on January 19, 2009 at the 25th Sundance Film Festival^[1] where it won the World Cinema Dramatic Directing Award for Oliver Hirschbiegel, and the World Cinema Screenwriting Award for Guy Hibbert.^[2] It was broadcast on BBC Two on 5 April 2009, and also had an international theatrical release.
In February, 1975, in Northern Ireland, seventeen year-old UVF member Alistair Little kills the catholic Jimmy Griffin in his house in Lurgan in front of his younger brother Joe Griffin. Alistair is arrested and imprisoned for twelve years while Joe is blamed by his mother for not saving his brother. Thirty-three years later, a TV promotes the meeting of Alistair and Joe in a house in River Finn, expecting the truth and the reconciliation of the murderer and the victim who actually seeks five minutes of heaven.

It becomes clear that although he is the smaller one, Anton is the smarter of the two. King has a visual impairment wherein he cannot see the letter "A." This becomes an impediment for his academic success. On the other hand, King is the master retriever; i.e. he can retrieve anything that's lost.

Running mainly on the much hyped first -- and, who knows, maybe only -- cinematic tandem of Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Comedy Queen Ai-Ai de las Alas, "BFF" (subtitled "Best Friends Forever" as if fearing its target audience wouldn't know what the heck the tri-lettered acronym stands for) affords no glint of optimism to what could be a barrage of films created less for their narratives than a chance to pit two local film legends and/or tabloid fodder with one another. Essentially a female counterpart of the Dolphy-Vic Sotto-starred "Dobol Trobol", Wenn Deramas' put-down to slapstick cinema has not, save for a few chuckle-inducing skits, a single hilarious moment, though more frustratingly glaring is its corny comedic scenes punctuating every overly manipulative tearjerker with the imprecise rhythm of a trying-hard drummer.

Spring Breakdown is a comedy film starring Amy Poehler, Parker Posey, and Rachel Dratch.
The storyline revolves around three thirtysomething friends who break the monotony of their uninspired lives by vacationing on an island that's a popular spring break getaway for college co-eds. One of the women works for a powerful senator whose daughter is one of those co-eds, only she's as geeky as her chaperones.

Johnny Mad Dog hits you like a punch in the jaw straight from the opening shot, and doesn't let up the entire way. The film directed by Jean-Stéphane Sauvaire was for me the stand out film of the Melbourne International Film Festival in 2008. The raw, splendidly gritty film making technique displayed to the full house at the forum has left an image in my head that wont leave me for a long time.
The film depicts a group of soldiers in their early teens and the lives they lead as a gang of freedom fighters in an unnamed African country. Their country has been plagued by war for many years to the point there its all the young boys have ever known. It highlights the loss of innocence amongst the young boys and extreme dramatic realities of the civil situation in the country.

Screen heartthrob Cogie Domingo plays a young man coming to grips with his own mortality. When Cogie meets up with another wandering soul, played by Jiro Manio, who reveals to him the redemptive power of acceptance; helped along by a spirit guide, fleshed out in the movie by Paolo Ballesteros, a new dimension to humanity becomes clear to Cogie and the loved ones he has left behind, especially his family.
